Police Name Prolific Offender
Fort St. James, B.C. – Police have named the 30 year old male suspect arrested this week for a rash of property crimes and driving offences.
Devin Andrew Jacobs of Fort St. James has been remanded in police custody and his first court appearance is tomorrow in Prince George.
He was arrested earlier this week, with the assistance of the RCMP’s Police Dog Unit, at a home in Fort St. James.
Jacobs faces numerous charges including Driving While Prohibited, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Flight from Police, Assaulting a Police Officer with a Weapon and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
He’s also a suspect in multiple break and enters in Fort St. James, Vanderhoof, Prince George and Fraser Lake.
Police urge anyone with information about any of these crimes to call them.
