Burns Lake, B.C.- A  Burns Lake man is in custody in connection with a triple homicide in that community.

Police attended a  residence in the 200 block of 5th Ave in Burns Lake around 8:25 Monday, April 27th, and discovered the bodies of a woman and two men. The identities of all three victims are not being released at this time.

A 54 year old Burns Lake man has been arrested in connection with the homicides and is currently in police custody pending a Justice of the Peace hearing this afternoon.

Police believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no further risk to the public.

The investigation is still in its very early stages and no other information can be released at this time.
