Woe is me. We have christie Clarks Libs & Alberta has whatever.
This should make for an interesting friday session. No swearing.

Today, in light of Bill C-51, I want to show why we really need to consider the whole ramifications of putting that kind of power into the hands of a Harper government. A government that we think we might know, but few can allow themselves to comprehend the evil in which some in that government are willing to enable in order to push their agenda.

20-years ago I thought I was a conservative… the fiscal argument seems to make sense, protecting our history as a nation and good family values, along with the promise of lower taxes is a good go to philosophy on the surface (I am no longer, now free enterprise only).

Its easy to use labels and feel good about your side, its a strength for partisanship, and everyone has been guilty of that. But the ugly stuff is never at the surface, that’s all just show for the masses, the real power always has its own agenda and it doesn’t need publicity, rather the opposite so we never hear of their agenda.

Now I most definitely do not consider myself in anyway a friend of modern conservative Harper style governance. I think his government is dangerous to the country, and from what I learned this week I think they don’t deserve any benefit of the doubt on anything, and in fact need to be considered dangerous to the country and defeated thoroughly in the next election.

It all accumulates, but we don’t see the real Harper on the surface. I looked into the Ukraine issue, because it just doesn’t smell right to me. I want to be proud of my country first and foremost, and when my country and its name is used to bring harm, rather than peace then that concerns me.

So I had been reading some stuff on Russia Insider, and the innuendo directed at Canada didn’t sit well with me.I know its a Putin mouth piece if their ever was one, and that they got their own spin on things… so I wrote them and said these are some serious allegations you people make about Canada with the he said, she said, kind of stuff and how can anyone tell whats what without specifics that are conclusive in the narrative that one can derive on their own whats actually happening.

This last week they had some interesting stuff that at first gave me a headache, but just leaves me feeling not only a betrayal by the Harper government, but also from the national media that should be reporting correctly on these things.

Russia this week labeled Canada the worlds leading STATE SPONSOR of neo-nazi’ism, and had an article they ran written by American Wayne Madsen, that is a pretty thorough researcher. Specifically a state sponsor of neo-nazi groups operating in the Ukraine including the ‘azov battalion’, the ‘right sector’, the ‘adair battalion’, and ‘svoboda’ among others actively committing war crimes today in the Ukraine.

Quote from the article,

“The Harper government granted tax-free charity status to the Ukrainian aid group Army SOS, which works with the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) to deliver military supplies, including drones and artillery targeting systems, to the Azov, Aidar, and other neo-nazi battalions in Ukraine. Ukrainian neo-nazi leader Andriy Parubly, a leader, along with Oleg Tyahnybok, of the far-right wing Social National Party of Ukraine (Svoboda) that uses the neo-nazi ‘wolfsangel’ symbol, was warmly recieved in Canada where he proclaimed that Canada was the Kiev regimes most trustworthy ally. The Ukrainian neo-nazi leader was received at the Foreign Ministry, the Defense Ministry, and in the House of Commons.” \end quote

Wow I thought, then it goes on to claim the military equipment Canada brings over will be used to train and be gifted to these same extremist groups. Its not eh regular Army they say Canada will be training? They talk about how Canada’s International Trade Minister Ed Fast and MP Ted Opitz are high profile fundraisers in Canada for these extremist groups citing a specific fund raiser in Toronto under the banner of a WW2 nazi named Bandera that raised $52,000. Opitz is banned from Russia for what they say is his fundraising money for terror groups in Eastern Ukraine.

It goes on to point out that Canada, the United States, and Ukraine were the only three countries at the UN to vote against a UN General Assembly vote against the glorification of nazism.

How sad is that when our government is sooo partisan that they can’t even bring themselves to vote against the glorification of nazism… and yet our own MP Bob Zimmer gets in on the act sponsoring Canadian legislation to have Canada vote against a UN Resolution for firearms being labeled to their country of origin. A yes man sponsoring legislation far more likely to benefit globalist war profiteers, than anything local to Prince George Peace River.

So it gets worse. The same web site posted some hard core video’s to prove their point. Our media sold the war in Ukraine as one of Russian aggression. They show these very disturbing videos, even more disturbing than the isis videos because these are neighbors that look just like you and I living in modern cities like ours… going just completely animal in their violence.

They show the Russians in Odessa that fate full day that started the civil war… they have a stage set up in front of the trade union building, tents around the stage for basic services of their protesters… protesters made up of women and children with flowers set up around their peaceful protest site… protesting the coup that overturned their government less than a year from legitimate elections.

Then it cuts out to inside video of the ‘right sector’ and other neo nazi groups absolutely laying waste to the city attacking the police lines like something out of zombie movie, on the war path to kill Russians and Russian businesses… inside video of the ‘right sector’ leader directing the chaos and giving orders to the police chief, that has to check with higher authorities by phone before relenting to the mob… and then clearly this mob setting siege on the the peaceful protest, chasing them into the building, women and children in the windows pleading for their safety, atrocities unimaginable taking place inside, when the fire bombs clearly come from the mob and set fire to the lot of them.

If that kind of ethnic based hatred and atrocity is not the makings of a civil war, then its hard to imagine anything worse. Its no wonder the Russian population took up arms to defend themselves after the Union Trade Building atrocity in Odessa.

The worst part of it all is these zombie crazed nazi groups of uneducated crazy thugs are all sporting the Canadian flag alongside their ‘wolfsangl’ flags and neo-nazi banners.

Is this what has become of Canadian foreign policy?

Is this why we need Bill C-51 hear at home?

What is the national interest in Canada to be involved in a coup, and then an insurgency within a country on the other side of the planet that is targeted against its own people using neo-nazi battalions?

Why are our cabinet ministers going to fund raisers to raise funds that are going to groups committing war crimes?

Why isn’t our national media not reporting truthfully about what is clearly a civil war of atrocities by both sides?

Is this worth starting a global war with Russia over, because that is what these crazy neo-nazi’s Harper is propping up are pining for? Putins parents barely survived the German siege of St Petersburg in the winter of 1942, so I highly doubt he will surrender Russians in the Dunbas to Canadian trained and financed neo-nazi styled militias. The whole Harper agenda over there has got to be the biggest betrayal of Canada in Canadian foreign policy history IMO… if it starts a global nuclear war maybe he will be famous.

Then to see Harper using the WW2 70th anniversary commemoration ceremonies to justify his war on Russia, was just pathetic…..

Dow you need to review my response to your claims that I was wrong about the Alberta landowner rights being violated by bankster practices. Facts are you are just like Palopu and like to believe in your own make believe if it suits your partisan purposes.

Supposed to be a great weekend.. Get out and enjoy the sun everyone :)

Eagleone do you think Harper’s recent deal with India to supply them with uranium was really to get us nuclear bombs in return to defend our arctic from Putin?

Wow, I think Eagleone needs his/her own blog. That is o long, I gave up reading it.

Wow, I think Eagleone needs his/her own blog. That is o long, I gave up reading it.

How many times did “neo-nazi” appear in it this morning?

Very interesting Eagleone. A shame and alarming if it is all legit. Thanks for your effort in researching and sharing. I wonder what their end game could be…not being sarcastic, i honestly dont get what the payoff would be long term to Canada. If there is no benefit to Canada as a country, then what is the motivator to the individual(s) pushing this agenda, personal profit/gain? Thanks again.

I am a card carrying Conservative. The oligarchy headed by Harper has worn out its welcome. One who seeks a 4th term is not thinking or heeding advice, at this point all thoughts originate in his genitals. If Harper bowed out after two terms (which I think should be maximum in any political station) history would remember him as one of the best PM’s Canada ever had. Now it appears the degenerate power geebler will fall like all others before him. Sad really.

I didn’t think you could blog that long.

Harper is going sideways lately. but could not tolerate the thought of having the NDP run our country. Worse would be Trudeau. So what choice do people like us have.

If Harper wants it to be good for the country he should have announced the election as well as his retirement.

Not sure how Eagleone or some others who post on this site can attribute so much power and intrigue to Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government.

These people just cannot seem to grasp the fact, that Canada is like a fly crawling up an elephants ass with rape on its mind. A lofty goal but not much chance of success.

Canada as a military power and as a Country that actually has some influence on world affairs doesn’t exist, and has never existed. We made our contributions in the 1st and 2nd world war, and the Korean war, however on the world scene to-day, we are a small player in a big game.

For Eagleone one to use any kind of information to bolster his view of Canada and the world, while labelling Canadians politicians at home as Nazi sympathizers, leaves a lot to be desired.

I took the time to read the whole article, however I wont do that again, it was a total waste of time and effort.

Eagleones views on this subject can be reduced to one work. **Tripe**

What Eagle one says about harper. I call ****.

I see Harper is meeting up with the Philipines President…probably having a Timmy together to discuss getting more workers into Canada

Charles – you remind me of a teacher handing out reading assignments to students.

The city road sweepers came out to our little street this week. We don’t get sanded in the winter (thank goodness) so the street wasn’t in too bad shape. Yet the city still sent out 5, count ’em FIVE, machines all in a row to clean up some leaves. What was that show of power all about? When I used to live on a bus route, two sweepers did the job just fine.

Commonsence:
Was it all for nuthin’?
At least the idea of the recovery centre is out – for the time being. The arithmetic just didn’t make sense.
If someone else resurrects the idea, they will first have to arrange for a water hauling truck!

Palopu:”Canada as a military power and as a Country that actually has some influence on world affairs doesn’t exist, and has never existed.”

Thank you! Making condemnatory official announcements about any controversial issue that arises anywhere in the world is like needlessly poking sticks into hornets nests!

Hopefully the rest of the world is not paying too much attention to our PM continously strutting and finger pointing!

Conservatives formed formed an unexpected majority in England. First thing to eliminate are hyper expensive inefficient bird killing wind farms. Smart people in England.

On April 30th there was a loose scientific article in the Citizen about the human race entering the human epoch. Well some of that information in the article was old, cherrypicked and not updated with the evolving science of “climate change”. Climate change is in italics as usually the term is used to infer anthropogenic global warming. Anthropogenic global warming was used in the past but since there has been no global warming for 18 years 5 months measured by all honest unadjusted data the grant seeking opportunists had to drop the warming label to general climate change. Sceptics do not deny the climate changes but warmers seem to deny climate changed before man. The veracity of their denial is in direct relation to the size of taxpayer government funding they receive.

Now in this article it is reverenced that we are being flooded with carbon 12 inferring this is a bad thing. What is conveniently left out of the article is the ratio between natural co2 and anthropogenic c02. C02 in total makes up about .04% of the atmosphere and of that .04% mans contribution is a measly 3 to 5%. Variations in natural C02 completely overwhelm any contributions by man.

The world is actually greening with the increase in C02, plants love it. Before the rise in C02 plants where starting to suffer from the low level of C02 and now the world has greened by at least 30% since the rise of C02 as measured by satellites. What is the effect of this greening, more food being grown, something that warmers tend to conveniently omit. Plants evolved when c02 levels where much higher than now that is why greenhouses are generally around 1000 ppm of c02. C02 was much higher over the majority of earths history. It is interesting that the article mentions c02 levels higher today than over the last 400,000 years conveniently leaving out the earths compete history of much higher c02 levels when life evolved and flourished. If the c02 levels where much higher over most of earths history, how did life survive? In fact life flourished. Cheerypicked time period.

There is mention that the oceans are more acidic now than in the past 800,000 years, give me a break. This implies that the oceans are acidic now which they are not by any means also leaving out long term history when c02 levels where much higher and the oceans did not turn into an acid bath. Another thing the daily ph level of the oceans inter tidal boundaries has a much higher daily variation. Fact, 80 years of ocean ph data has been omitted replaced by a hindcast model. A hindcast model can be adjusted to output any information, junk in, junk out, Is that fraud or what. Again, 80 years of data replaced by a man adjusted computer model.

It is interesting this article’s whole intent is to imply another extinction event but this one caused by man using cherrypicked data, very scientific, not. Cherrypicked data for scarmongering, poor use of science.

sort of like Site C

UNBC IS CLOSED to the tax-paying public.

I just went to the campus to check out using workspace in the library and the option to rent meeting rooms on occasion. I’m not a student or faculty but I am a taxpayer and my business is on the significant donor list (shouldn’t matter). I was shocked when told that I would not be able to get Wi-Fi except when renting a meeting room. Really? Wi-Fi is available everywhere BUT at the centre of learning that we’ve all paid for? I found that internet access was available up until last summer.

So I’m at one of the conferences that UNBC loves to host and can’t duck out to the library to go online and get caught up. I have to leave the campus and go to Starbucks or McDonalds, any hotel, airport etc. etc..

I just plugged in at the PG Public Library and was online instantly. Too bad they don’t open until 10am.

This is especially vexatious at this time of year when the UNBC facility is a vast empty beautiful place.

Good morning to all my fiends in George. It’s a balmy day here in Oderford with temperature at 26c. See George is also having sunshine but I guess its very cloudy for Pal.

Hey what a prediction Pal,” Prentice is our man” and he didn’t even make the opposition. I guess he will just have to go bask to his farm. I see the new Premer is going to look at “royalties”. Its about time that our capitalist friends paid their share.

Maybe Zimmer will be gone in October his pal Dick has already left. The people of PG deserve better then what they have been getting.

Well that’s all my wisdom for the day. See you next Friday.
Cheers

Wonder if of those wind farms would get the excels of wild geese here in BC.
Cheers

lbear … Charles IS a teacher handing out reading assignments … LOL … for real … but give him credit, he does provide references to click on for those interested in his point rather than ranting for 25 paragraphs

“excels of wild geese”: wild geese use spreadsheets?

I think you can make more of it than is justified, but the votes on the UN resolution against the glorification of Nazi-ism are curious. There were two objections to the resolution that I know of. One is that it advocates restrictions on freedom of speech. However, we already have such laws here in Canada, and the Harper government has not opposed them, so that can’t be the reason for Canada’s vote. The other is that the resolution refers to the Durban Conference, which was a festival of anti-Semitism. The reference is, however, merely that, one of a long list of references to UN documents and conferences on the topic, and hardly constitutes and endorsement of anti-Semitism or the activities of the Durban Conference. Indeed, the country most concerned with anti-Semitism, did not find this a reason to vote against the resolution. It therefore seems likely that the votes against the resolution were motivated by dislike for Putin.

Oops, crucial word missing from my post above: the “country most concerned with anti-Semitism” is of course Israel.

Seamut says.

Conservatives formed formed an unexpected majority in England. First thing to eliminate are hyper expensive inefficient bird killing wind farms. Smart people in England.
First ,the only one aparantly surprised was you . And the wind farms are not going away . Did you have the savvy to make a profit on the election ? I’m up 6.62 % on my UK holdings this morning . How about you ?

I was looking through the City of Prince George job opportunities this morning and just have to say again how stupid the wages are for City employees.$24 per hour starting wage for a cashier? What the heck is management or the union thinking? No wonder taxes keep going up each year.

Loki site C is required to back up the power from the IPP’s of which we are on the hook for 65 billion. IPP’s are non firm power so cannot be counted on. We did not need the IPP’s, only site c, so we are on the hook for the IPP’s and site c.

BC Hydro’s hydroelectric power is the cheapest source of electricity there is. Any country or area with abundant hydro electric power has the cheapest rates. Our rates are increasing mainly because of the expensive contracts to the IPP’s, the IPP’s being friends of the liberals. Lots of cushy contracts.

Ataloss the UK was surprised at the majority, try to keep up. Glad you are making a profit of the conservatives. Hey how is your solar powered house coming along? Disconnected from the grid yet? Did you have any investments in Solyndra?

Windfarms heavily subsidized inefficient money sucking bird and bat killers. Interesting how one cannot seem to find any generation information on the Bear Park fans, seem to be hiding something?

Ataloss your money making capitalist ways are under threat’

Maurice Newman, the chairman of Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s Business Advisory Council, has accused the UN of attempting to subvert democracy, of attempting to establish a worldwide authoritarian regime, with political power concentrated in the hands of UN officials.

According to Newman;

Why then, with such little evidence [for dangerous global warming], does the UN insist the world spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year on futile climate change policies? Perhaps Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the UN’s Framework on Climate Change has the answer?

In Brussels last February she said, “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years since the Industrial Revolution.”

In other words, the real agenda is concentrated political authority. Global warming is the hook.

Figueres is on record saying democracy is a poor political system for fighting global warming. Communist China, she says, is the best model. This is not about facts or logic. It’s about a new world order under the control of the UN. It is opposed to capitalism and freedom and has made environmental catastrophism a household topic to achieve its objective.

Figueres says that, unlike the Industrial Revolution, “This is a centralised transformation that is taking place.” She sees the US partisan divide on global warming as “very detrimental”. Of course. In her authoritarian world there will be no room for debate or disagreement.

Newman’s comments have stirred significant controversy in Australia, and a lot of calls for him to resign. However, in my opinion, it is Christiana Figueres who should face questions, regarding her bizarre statements about “revolutions” and “new economic development models”.

Christiana Figueres is the Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the official in charge of the UN’s environmental effort. According to CNS News, according to the UN itself, Christiana Figueres did say what Maurice Newman claims she said, about centralised economic transformation.

I don’t remember voting for a politician whose manifesto included a policy of “centralised transformation” of the global economy to a new economic model. I certainly don’t remember voting for Christiana Figueres.

Ultimately our elected politicians control the purse strings of the UN. Its about time our representatives demanded a little accountability and clarity, from the UN organisations which they so lavishly fund.

The house is doing just fine . Still hooked up to the grid . No I did not trade solydra . I mostly trade financials . I don’t flip penny stocks . Do you answer questions seamutt or do you just parrot con talking points ? Think green seamutt . That’s what the Green Party is all about. What a session today . After hours is even crazier . Next session should be a wild ride .

Try to keep up ? I’ve got skin in the game kid , so I’ve got it under a microscope . Btw it was the SNP that made the difference . You try and keep up .

Hartley I am not sure what motivated Harper to sell Canadian Uranium to India. It makes no sense other that two right wingers that care more about war than global security. Maybe Harper imagines it will garner more trade like his relations with the communists in China that now nearly own Vancouver?

What I do know is that everything nuclear is bad for mankind and life on Earth and exporting it to India frees up their own uranium to use for making nuclear weapons. A mere 50 nuclear bombs exchanged is enough to seriously contaminat the hemisphere. It’s to bad Canada is exporting the weapons capability to the Southern Hemisphere and to a region as unstable as the sub continent.

Of course Harper does what Irael tells him to do. Israel and India are tight on weapons transfers so if anything it would be Israel getting the bombs from India. Same as it is an Israeli billionaire that started the Azov Battallion in Ukraine that Harper funds to try and protect his bank holdings in the Dunbas (which have been nationalized by the separatists).

That is the curious thing Billposer… Even Israel voted to support the UN resolution against the glorification of nazism… Yet such is the hate on for Putin by Harper and such is the weakness of Ukrainian resolve to fight Harpers battles against Russia… That he sees it better to veto the vote against nazism so as not to vote against his own use of these groups for his agenda in Ukraine.

Another side.. Yes the links don’t post… As Insuspected….

Hey this is fun today no bad drivers. I do use a spread sheet but “excessive” just go away.
Cheers

It was around 32 here today, LOL.

Soon the tulips will be out in full force, the fresh fruit and veggies will be popping up at the farm stands, boats will be cruising around downtown, football will start and the fish will be biting. Bring on summer!

Seamutt:

I am glad to see your post on the UN issues. This is the stuff that eagleone has been blathering about that most everyone else calls him weak minded for. E1 has some very enlightened comments.

A few terms you may want to look into:
NWO, global shadow government, bilderberger, masonism

All different terms, but they all refer to the same or similar concepts. This has been in the works at least since the end of the 18th century, but there is some evidence and a lot of suspicion that this has been in the works since at least the 15th century, and a very few others suggest it began not long after the fall of Rome. Perhaps even because of the fall of Rome.

Is it true or real? Heck, I have no idea, but it is interesting and does happen to explain a few of the head-shaker/facepalm actions of our Parliament and other government houses. I just believe that rumours are very similar to myths and legends in that there is often a kernel of truth behind the stories.

Have fun with it.

Retired 02,. Prentice gave Albertans a choice, and they made it. Problem is they made the wrong choice.

In any event I think he looked at the big picture and came to the conclusion that to stay in the game and try to stop people from going to hell in a hand basket was a waste of time, he decided to leave politics and live the good life.

I give him credit from giving up the Leadership, and also his MLA position. It will be a hell of a long time before you ever see an NDP’r walk away from a high paying Government job.

We need more people to walk away from politics, which in Canada has become the pastime of professional complainers.

NMG – enjoy yourself why you can. Your grandchildren will be frying in Ontario in a few decades.

Life is good hey Cougar Guy?

Life is good here, although I’m not sure why my grand children would be frying anywhere in a few decades. If they don’t like where they are they’ll be free to move, just like anyone else in the country, LOL.

Palopu, when Prentice lost the Alberta election he really had no choice but to resign. He will forever be known as the Conservative Premier who lost Alberta and no longer has any credibility. As for NDPers leaving high paying government jobs, why on earth would you expect them to just because you’re in a snit about the NDP winning Alberta with the highest voter turnout in decades.

Nice to see the highway patrol out doing their thing on the north highway today!

Would you hire Jim Prentice? Now-former Alberta premier likely to ‘land on his feet’ despite stunning election failure

Ataloss doing quite, glad you are concerned. There is green then there is irrational green.

Ibear care to elaborate?

Citizen reported c02 levels over 400 parts per million, supposed to be a tipping point. Same thing was said at 350 parts per million. Just did the world survive at thousands ppm of c02?

In typical biased reporting no seperation of natural and anthropogenic levels.

Seamutt and NMG – just wish I was young enough to see the palm trees in PG.

Closer to home, take a drive downtown at night there is no income people all over the place , saw a guy take his pants down in a corner of the new heat building on 2nd ave. We are bringing people here from other places because of all the services we provide. The Fire Pit had people lined up on both sides of the street today. Its so sad to see what our City has become.

Ibear there has been no warming for 18 years and 5 months, computer models didn’t see that coming. Now the grant seeking scientist are making up excuses why the apocalypse did not arrive as predicted. Think about this is they stop yelling catastrophe what happens to their income? That is something that will dry up. When a politician gets on board a sane person would be wondering what’s the scam.
