Prince George, B.C. – Today is Mother’s Day and there are a few ideas on spots you may want to take your mother for her enjoyment.

First of all, and for a very good cause, the folks at Masich Place Stadium are holding a Mother’s Day breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m., with all proceeds going to the Relay For Life.

The Legion on 6^th Avenue is open all day with three Mother’s Day specials.  Their breakfast runs from 10 a.m. to noon, lunch is from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and dinner is being served from 3 p.m. to 6 pm.  The entire family is welcome.

And for your mom’s enjoyment, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra is wrapping up its season with a salute to mothers.  There will be several musical high notes including, for an encore, Strauss’s Emperor Waltz.  An added treat is the desserts from Ohh Chocolat Café.

The Classic Assortment begins at 3 pm at the Columbus Hall on Domano.
