Sunny & Warm Temperatures Expected for Long Weekend

Prince George, B.C. – Environment Canada is forecasting sunny and warm temperatures for Prince George this May long weekend.

Meteorologist Andre Besson expects an upper ridge of high pressure in the area means sunny and dry conditions will remain with us “for the foreseeable future, in this case 5-10 days.”

He expects temperatures to peak at 25 degrees Friday before cooling down to a high of 17 Saturday, 19 Sunday, and rising to 22 Monday. He says average lows will hover between 4 and 6.

Besson says average highs for this year usually top out at 18 degrees with lows of 4.

And no need for an umbrella as “most of the precipitation over the province will be further south of Prince George for the time being,” he says.
