Prince George, B.C. – Emergency personnel were called into action following a rollover accident south of Prince George Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 8:35am on Highway 97, south of Red Rock just past Patterson Road East. It appears a tire came off an SUV that was driving on the highway and the driver of a second vehicle, a Ford SUV, rolled off the roadway while trying to avoid the tire.
It is unclear how many people were in the Ford and whether anyone was injured. Extraction equipment was requested at the scene.
Police are investigating the accident.
