Minerals North to Return to P.G.
Prince George, B.C.- The Minerals North Conference will return to Prince George in April of 2017.
The conference focuses on discussions about the benefits and impacts of mining exploration and development, and can be a boost to local businesses says Mayor Hall “Local and regional businesses will use the conference to establish new contacts and working relationships. The event will also provide a venue for mineral industry participants to learn about the community and issues and concerns that are important to residents of the region.”
This will be the third time P.G. has hosted the conference having previously hosted the conference in 2002 and in 2010.
The conference attracts hundreds of delegates, and exhibitors. The 2010 conference is believed to have boosted the local economy by more than $575 thousand dollars.
