Quesnel, B.C. – One man is in stable condition after he was shot early this morning just north of Quesnel.

Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Darren Dodge says the incident occurred at 12:40am on Comeau Road and notes three males, all from Quesnel, are now in police custody.

The gunshot victim is currently being treated at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital.

The North District Major Crime Unit, as well as the Prince George Forensic Identification Section are assisting in this investigation.

No word yet on any charges and no names have been released.
