Tuesday, June 9, 2015 @ 12:08 PM

Kitimat, B.C. – A tentative deal has been reached to end the more than three month old labour dispute at the District of Kitimat.

Unifor Local 2300 business agent Martin McIIwrath says the tentative agreement is now subject to ratification by employees and District of Kitimat Council.

He says “ratification by both parties is expected in the next few days” adding “no details will be released until after ratification.”

The strike by 127 Unifor members began February 28 and unrest centred around wages and workplace conditions.
