PG Power Outage Affecting Over 6,000 Customers

Prince George, B.C. – A power outage in Prince George and surrounding areas has left over 6,700 BC Hydro customers in the dark this morning.
According to BC Hydro, the lights went out at around 8am and was caused by a substation fault.
The outage has affected customers from North Nechako Road through the Hart, into Salmon Valley and parts of Shelley.
BC Hydro’s earliest estimate of when power will be restored is 10:00 am.
