Quesnel, B.C.- RCMP in Quesnel have called the Underwater Recovery Team  for assistance in  a case.On Sunday morning,  Quesnel RCMP   got a call from a person who , while on their daily walk, noticed  tire marks that appeared to have  gone off  Baston Road, towards the  Quesnel River.  The caller  said the tracks were not there  on Saturday.

Police attended the scene and  found a BC licence plate.  They have not yet been able to contact the registered owner of  the  plate.

The search of the area  was expanded to include an aerial scan of the river.  RCMP are not able to confirm if a vehicle, or anybody, went into the river.
