Got the location wrong!
Name change is at 10:00 am.
Nice turn out for the show and shine! Good weather! It’s all happening at the the Prince George park by the river
“The Prince George park by the river.”? Theory; did you mean Cottonwood Island Park, or the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park?
Hey Theory, maybe you are referring to Wilson Park? It is yet another Prince George park by the river.
To me it is still and will always remain as Fort George Park! THAT is the history of present day Prince George.
The park that houses the Priince George museum .. It’s where the show and shine is today…
Oh, so you mean it’s at the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park. Thanks, but you could have been more sapecific by actually naming the park. For a while there, I thought I was engaging in a game of charades with you.
It is fascinating watching some of you right wingers engaging in minimalization and denial over the changes happening on this historic day. Oh well, some of you can stay stuck in the past, while the rest of us move forward towards an exciting future.
Meh… A park is a park.. Still Prince George.. And your right. “Sophic Sage” time to move forward.. And not stay stuck in the past…oops sorry.. I thought the whole meaning of renaming the park was to recognize the past.. But your saying ” while the rest of us move forward” thought that’s what a majority of us were trying to do.. But keep being dragged backwards with renaming of parks that will be old news in a month…your contradicting yourself
Sophic, I take it your are talking about the natives being stuck in the past.. I agree. It’s time to look into the future and live up to our potential..not keep looking back for excuses.
