Drugs and Weapons Seized in Search of Williams Lake Home
Williams Lake B.C.- A search warrant executed on a Mackenzie Avenue home in Williams Lake has resulted in the seizure of some weapons and a small amount of drugs. The search was part of a Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit investigation in that community. According to the CFSEU, the residence has been the scene of several incidents, including a shooting.
With assistance from the RCMP’s North District Emergency Response Team and Williams Lake RCMP, the search resulted in the seizure of:
• one .22 caliber rifle,
• one pellet pistol resembling a semi-automatic handgun,
• numerous items, such as clubs and socks with pennies in the toe, that could be used as impact weapons,
• numerous edged items, such as hatchets, machetes, and knives, and
• 223 grams of marijuana.
A 28 year old man and a 21 year old woman were arrested in the home, but were later released without charges.
The investigation is continuing and no other people have been arrested.

I thought all these items were legal except maybe the weed. Maybe the 22 was not stored properly?
Would be interesting to see how many officers, vehicles, dogs, etc; etc; were involved in this raid, and of course the cost.
Cant we get the big guys??
