Prince George, B.C. – It was an added bonus for a 4 year old who is a major fan of police.
“Capper” was having a birthday party Sunday, and it had a police theme. So, when North District RCMP Corporal Dave Tyreman heard about it, he enlisted some help to make the party extra special.
Along with Constable Trevor Hurley of the PG RCMP Community Policing Office , who, decked out in Red Serge had just finished attending the Aboriginal Day event at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, Cpl. Tyreman made a special stop at the party.
When the two arrived on scene, they gave the siren a quick blast. That was enough to have the young party goers spill out into the driveway to see what was going on.
Never mind pin the tail on the donkey, these party goers got a special tour of the police cruiser, and a good look at the two styles of uniforms worn by the RCMP.
The birthday boy summed it up in three simple words “Best party ever.”
