Prince George B.C.- Call it a win, win, win situation.
On Father’s Day, the annual Ride Don’t Hide event called on bicycle riders in the community of Prince George to take to the streets to raise funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Forty seven riders, and 6 virtual riders, took part and raised just under $9,500, that’s win number one.
This morning, the top fundraiser for the event was awarded a bike from Cycle World. That honour went to Jeremy Bekken who raised $800 dollars. Consider that win number two.
Win number three was a bike earned by Eva Warlberger whose name was drawn as part of the wrist band sales. That bike was donated by Shoppers Drug Mart – Spruceland.
