Vanderhoof, B.C.- Two men have been charged in connection with the  shooting death of  a  Vanderhoof woman  in  late 2012.RCMP in Vanderhoof responded to  a report of a shooting at a Vanderhoof residence  in the afternoon of December 20th, 2012.

The victim was  first sent to Vanderhoof Hospital,  then transferred to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. where she succumbed to her injuries.

Arrested and charged  in connection with this death are

• 27 year old Kayne Sabbe Penner of Vanderhoof ,  who is charged with Manslaughter with a Firearm, and Careless Use of a Firearm
• 38 year old Richard Borne of Vanderhoof is charged with Careless Storage of a Firearm, Careless Use of a Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
