Prince George, B.C. – It was hot in Prince George today, but not hot enough to break any records.
The thermometer hit a high of 27.2 degrees Celsius, just short of the record high of 29.4 degrees set this day back in 1928.
According to Environment Canada meteorologist David Wray, there’s a better chance of breaking a record tomorrow.
“We’re looking at a high of 30 degrees for Prince George. The previous record for tomorrow was 30 way back in 1938.”
Looking ahead to Monday he expects a bit of a cool down but says things should rebound just in time for Canada Day.
“We could be looking at quite hot temperatures once again.”

Bring on global warming!
32 Celsius in the shade at my house today. Sorry Enviro Canada.
85 degrees F in 1928. In the 19 teens Mr. Hammond claimed you can grow anything in this area except peaches. ( no, seriously).
No peaches? How about pineapples? Bananas? Mr. Hammond made many claims. He was a promoter. It is to be expected. It is what promoters are known for.
Glad you understand gopg….can you spell sarcasm ?
