Two face Drug Charges
Prince George, B.C.- Police executed search warrants in the Pinewood and Southridge areas of Prince George last evening.The search warrants were executed at residences on the 3700 block of Pinewood Avenue and the 3300 block of St. Francis Court. The warrants were the result of an investigation that included the seizure of over an ounce of cocaine, a substantial amount of GHB (Gamma HydroxyButyrate) and cash, during a vehicle stop earlier that evening.
During the search of the residences, officers located and seized multiple ounces of cocaine and over $20,000 in cash.
A 35 year old man and a 27 year old female were arrested. Both are residents of Prince George. They will be released on conditions until their first appearance in court, yet to be scheduled. Multiple charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act are anticipated.
