So in a sense this is not just a Shania Twain concert, but also a “con”vention? I can see why cons like country more than any other kind of music. It has a simple beat and the lyrics are not all that complex, so it is easy for them to follow without getting confused or lost.

I think that the blindingly obscene part of Ms Twains concert are the ticket prices. Only 2 options, and incl fees and service charges they are $217.40 and $238.05. Granted, 5 years ago I paid $168.50 to see Elton John. But that was Elton John. Seems a little steep for Shania.

All credibility has been lost with catches of outright lies so there will be an exit soon by the laughing stock… and then in a few weeks a brand new name will pop up and within a few posts we will all know the troll is back. Its as predictable as the rising sun.

Saw the Eagles in Vancouver for $250 or so a few years ago. Maybe they will come here when they are over 75 years old and we can see them for $150.

I prefer watching artists like this on YouTube over my smart TV set up. Saw Shania’s Las Vegas show from 2014 last night since I had never seen her perform. Northern girl who grew up in Timmins and planted trees for her father’s tree planting firm. Fits right in with PG. She’s turning 50 in August.

She really goes from country to country pop o country rock to pop. I think she does a wide spectrum. She’ll probably do a take-off of her Vegas show here minus some of the vast numbers of extras.
