P.G. Mountie Faces Charges In Relation to Crash
Prince George, B.C. – A member of the Prince George RCMP is facing two charges under the Motor Vehicle Act in relation to a crash that occurred nearly a year ago.
On July 20th of last year, a police cruiser left Ospika Boulevard and crashed into a pole, coming to rest on the median.

At the time, RCMP said the officer was responding to a high priority weapons call – which turned out to be unfounded – in the area of 1st Avenue and Ospika.
The officer was northbound on Ospika when his police car left the road and crashed into a power pole.
Court records now show, Constable Aaron Bartsch has been charged with driving a vehicle without due care and attention, and excessive speeding relative to conditions.
