Two Charged, Stolen Vehicle Recovered
Prince George, B.C. – Two Prince George residents are facing charges in connection to a stolen vehicle.
On Wednesday July 16th, 2015 at approximately 7:15 PM, a member of the Prince George RCMP’s Traffic Enforcement Section attempted to pull over a vehicle traveling south bound on Foothills Boulevard in Prince George. Police say the driver of the vehicle failed to stop.
Although police did not pursue the vehicle, it was determined the green Ford F150 had been stolen from Vernon, BC four days earlier.
About 15 minutes later, members of the Prince George RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team located and arrested two persons believed to be involved with the stolen truck near Westwood Drive and Ferry Avenue in the City. The stolen truck was recovered.
22 year old William Nicolas Rahkola from Prince George is charged with:
- Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000
- Flight from Police
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
26 year old Rebecka Susanne Rahkola of Prince George is charged with:
- Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation
Both were held in custody at least until their first appearance in Provincial Court.
