Van Fire on the Hart Highway

firevehiclePrince George, B.C.-   A vehicle fire in the 3300 block of the John Hart Highway  created a column of thick black smoke  that  rose over   the area this evening.Area residents tried to douse the flames themselves, but it was too little too late.

No injuries sustained.  Witnesses  report  hearing  what they describe as ‘pops’ as the  vehicle  was consumed by flames.

Prince George  Fire Rescue is on scene,  and is dealing  with  ensuring the fire doesn’t spread, and is  properly doused.

Cause of the fire is not yet known.

These tiny pictures used to be linked to the larger image after there were complaints on here about the small pictures. How come it has seemingly gone back to no links to larger images? Only very few the last little while have actually been linked to an image you could actually see. Some have actually been linked to basically the same small thumbnail.
