Search and Rescue Looks for Missing Man
Prince George, B.C.- Members of Prince George Search and Rescue were called out this morning to assist in a search for a missing person in the Bednesti Lake area.
One male failed to arrive at his destination following his shift at work. He was last seen around 11:00pm Saturday July 18.
The Prince George RCMP say the missing male is 36 year old Christopher Iean Banks of Prince George.
He was heading to a celebration at the Woodcock Lake Recreation Area, southwest of Prince George. He never arrived.

The Prince George Search & Rescue Society, Nechako Valley Search & Rescue Society, Quesnel Search & Rescue Society and a search airplane were used to conduct ground and air searches throughout the day today, but there has been no sign of Banks or his vehicle.
Searchers have covered more than 2200 kms of backroads.
This disappearance is out of character for Banks and police do not believe foul play is involved at this time.
Christopher Iean Banks is described as:
- Caucasian male

- 66 kg (145 lbs)
- Blue eyes
