Search Yields No Sign of Missing Man
Prince George, B.C.- Another day of searching, and still no sign of 36 year old Christopher Iean Banks of Prince George.
The 36 year old has not been seen since Saturday night at 11 when he got off shift. He was believed to be heading to Woodcock Lake Recreation site, which is about 40 kilometers south on the Bobtail Forest Service road, but never arrived.
Police do not suspect any foul play but say his disappearance is totally out of character.
Today Emergency Management B.C. had a helicopter in the area looking for any sign of Banks, or his gold PT Cruiser
( a similar vehicle is shown at right) . The RCMP had their plane in the air in the region searching, while Prince George Search and Rescue continued the search on the ground.
The RCMP are hoping to have their helicopter arrive from Kamloops tomorrow to assist in the search.

Maybe try looking down steep embankments for signs of an accident. I still remember the story of Joe Spring, the 19 year old who fell asleep at the wheel and was found just barely alive at the bottom of a very steep embankment, 8 days later:

If this man had just got off work it’s very possible that he was tired.
I hope they find him soon …..
Hope they find this man alive and well.
In general, I have noticed there are a lot of men and women just disappearing up here, on the other hand Prince George’s murder rate is way down from 3 years ago… don’t know if the two are connected.
