I hope everyone is okay. As far as this intersection and the one at the bottom of Peden Hill they should be changed to turn signal only lights. I see way to many people taking a chance when they can’t see.

There are other intersection with left turn lanes and left turn signals where the left turn signal should go red and stay that way until it gets a green arrow again! People take too many chances as explained in the above post, which is right on the button!

…”As far as this intersection and the one at the bottom of Peden Hill they should be changed to turn signal only lights.”

I agree, i’ve made left turns at these lights heading north/south and its always iffy, you can’t really see. Sometimes i’ll just wait another round for signal turn lights to come on instead of going

Traffic engineers are a waste of a wage. Hire someone with common sense, like chloe or pg or Prince George.
There is absolutely no sense, with the amount of accidents and people pushing in to the red on the left turn signal, to leave it the way it is.

Grizzly2: Doesn’t matter how ‘safe’ you make it, people will still crash because they have no sense.
Look how many people run off the highways in clear, dry sunny weather. You just can’t fix stupid.

I think there should be warning lights on both sides of this intersection like the ones coming down Peden Hill.
