Rash of Thefts Plague Williams Lake

Williams Lake, B.C. – A rash of property thefts is plaguing Williams Lake.

Community safety coordinator for the RCMP Dave Dickson says it includes the theft of 12 quality bikes the past number of weeks and more.

“A number of ATVs have been reported stolen and on a very regular basis, vehicles are entered and property is stolen. This can range from wallets, purses, sunglasses, GPS and other items.”

In an effort to combat the crime, he asks Williams Lake residents to lock their vehicles, buildings, and to record serial numbers of all valuables.

We lived and worked in billies pond way back in 75 . Nothing has changed . Someone stole my sons tricycle out of the front yard . Glad we left . We now only stop for the red lights while getting through as fast as we can .

I wonder who just got out of jail?

There is nothing good about that town, except the highways running out from it. We don’t even stop for coffee in that dump any more.
