Rash of Thefts Plague Williams Lake
Williams Lake, B.C. – A rash of property thefts is plaguing Williams Lake.
Community safety coordinator for the RCMP Dave Dickson says it includes the theft of 12 quality bikes the past number of weeks and more.
“A number of ATVs have been reported stolen and on a very regular basis, vehicles are entered and property is stolen. This can range from wallets, purses, sunglasses, GPS and other items.”
In an effort to combat the crime, he asks Williams Lake residents to lock their vehicles, buildings, and to record serial numbers of all valuables.
If you have information about any of these crimes, you’re encouraged to contact the police at 250-392-6211.
