Man Formally Charged for Bank Robbery

Prince George, B.C.- A 31 year old man from Smithers has been formally charged in connection with the robbery of the TD Bank at Domano and O’Grady in College Heights on Tuesday August 11th.
On Tuesday afternoon a lone male suspect wearing a mask entered the bank, produced what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash. He left the scene on foot.
Within three hours, police had located a suspect in a wooded area on O’Grady, and made an arrest. The stolen cash was recovered.
Jonathan Beaver Tattersall is facing the four following Criminal Code offences:
- Robbery with an Imitation Weapon
- Uttering Threats (2 counts)
- Commit an Indictable Offence while Masked
- Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (2 counts)
Tattersall has been remanded in custody at least until his next court appearance which is scheduled for August 19th, 2015.
