Plenty of Provincial Road Resurfacing Projects Underway

Prince George, B.C. – In addition  to the road rehab projects being undertaken by the City of Prince George,  there area number of  projects underway  on Provincial  roadways.

Asphalt resurfacing  projects will see crews working  on the following:

  • Lower Mud River Hill on Highway 16 west of Prince George;
  • Highway 97 from the Simon Fraser Bridge to Highway 16 intersection;
  • Intersection of Highway 97 at Austin Road;
  • Intersection of Highway 16 at First Avenue and Victoria;
  • an extension to the acceleration lane westbound on Highway 16 from the intersection with Highway 97.

The above projects  have an  value of $3.1 million dollars and  are being done by Columbia Bitulithic of Prince George.  
Work is expected to be completed in late September.

Drivers can expect some delays and detours.
