Alberta Man Killed in Highway 16 East Rollover
Prince George, B.C. – North District RCMP Traffic Services now indicate that a 47-year-old Alberta man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 16, east of Purden Lake, on Thursday morning.
Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the crash occurred at approximately 8:41 am Thursday. The man died as a result of injuries sustained when the car he was a passenger in left Highway 16 and rolled into the ditch. The vehicle was an orange 2012 Jeep Wrangler with Alberta plates.
Police investigators are looking for anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the crash happened, as well as anyone who may have witnessed the crash. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers
The victim’s name has not been released.
