3 Face string of charges
Prince George BC-Three men are facing a number of Criminal Code charges following a property crime investigation that began last week.
On Friday August 28th, 2015, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a Break & Enter to an electrical business on Ogilvie Street in Prince George. Sometime overnight thieves broke into the business and stole a pick-up truck, flat deck trailer and several spools of insulated copper wire with an estimated value of nearly $5000.
On Saturday August 29th, an off duty police officer located the stolen Ford F-350 abandoned off Kimball Road, near the Bon Voyage Plaza west of the City’s center. Members of the Prince George RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team and Police Dog Service Section conducted surveillance of the vehicle.
Just after 2:20 AM on Monday August 31st, suspects attended the stolen truck and drove it to a property on Sykes Road off Highway 16, near the west edge of Prince George. Three persons were arrested and taken into custody at the residence. The truck, trailer and all the copper wire were recovered.
The following Criminal Code charges have been approved against 48 year old Earl Wade Johnson and 32 year old Eric Wayde Johnson, both of Prince George: Break, Enter & Theft
Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Theft Under $5000 (2 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (3 counts) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking
The following Criminal Code charges have been approved against 39 year old Robert Douglas Leslie of Prince George:
Break, Enter & Theft (after the fact)
Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Theft Under $5000 (2 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (3 counts)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking
Earl Wade Johnson has been remanded in custody at least until his next court date scheduled for Tuesday September 8th, 2015. Eric Wayde JOHNSON has been remanded in custody at least until his next court date scheduled for later today. Robert Douglas Leslie has been released by a Judicial Justice of the Peace at least until his next court date scheduled for Wednesday September 23rd, 2015.
