Marathoners Storm The Hill
Prince George, B.C. – The Northern Sport Centre at UNBC is the kickoff point for Storm The Hill 2015 today.
The annual multi-sport endurance event gives participants the choice of a 5 km run, a 10 km run or a sprint duathlon with two 5 km runs with a 20 km bike ride sandwiched in between. On-line registration totaled 97 with organizers expecting the total number of contestants to top 150. Entrants can compete individually or as a team.
The Northern Sport Centre opens at 7 a.m.
Competitors can pick up their bibs and barbecue tickets from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
The mandatory Bike Check-in for duathletes begins at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:15.
That is followed by a warm-up.
And the race begins at 9: 30 a.m.
It’s all followed up with a post-race barbecue and prize presentation.

And no access for non-participants of Storm the Hill to the N.S.C. Ridiculous.
It isn’t a marathon. A marathon distance is 42.195 kilometres, or 26 miles.
