CNC Offering Free Safety Courses

Prince George, B.C. – Safety week has kicked off at the College of New Caledonia.cnc

From tomorrow through to the 27th, the College will be offering free safety training courses in Prince George, Vanderhoof, Burns Lake , Mackenzie and Fort St. James.

The programs are being made available through funding from TransCanada.

“These offerings will go a long way toward ensuring that the members of our community are able to access key training opportunities that will help them acquire long-term employment in the north,” said CNC President, Henry Reiser.

Courses offered include Hazard Identification, Assessment and Communication, Rigging and Lifting, First Aid Level 1, WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

Course availability is subject to location. Details on which programs are being offered at the different campuses can be found by contacting the local campus, or online.

Great..only 10 spaces and filled up last week ..20 on waiting list and not taking any more names.

First aid must be full, not listed on their website
