Prince George, B.C. – The College of New Caledonia is once again asking health care professionals to donate their gently used uniforms for the school’s scrub drive.

Scrubs can be dropped off at the CNC library, Lakewood Dental, or the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation office at UHNBC between tomorrow and October 6th.
Proceeds from the sale will go toward funding five $250 bursaries for CNC health sciences students in financial need.
“All health care professionals can donate their scrubs as long as they are washed, in good shape and recyclable for others to use,” says nursing instructor Nancy Esopenko. “This scrub drive helps make studying the health sciences more affordable for our students.”
Since the first scrub drive was launched in 2011, CNC’s Making a Difference Bursary has raised over $7,000.
