Culture Days Provide Free Entertainment
Prince George, B.C. – Culture Days are being celebrated across Canada this weekend and a number of events are planned in Prince George to mark the occasion.
Culture Days features free participatory and interactive arts and cultural activities presented by individual artists, groups, organizations, municipalities, and festivals. Northern BC events are being held in Prince George and Dawson Creek.
Prince George spokesperson Erica Skowron tells us that an adult group, the New Horizons Band, is performing at 10 this morning at the Sendo Sushi Factory in the Bon Voyage Plaza. Then at 2 this afternoon a small group of musicians with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra will be putting on a concert for kids at Exploration Place.
The Alban Classical Artists present a free concert featuring Jose Delgado-Guevara – violin, Simon Cole – clarinet, and Erica Skowron – oboe, at 3 Sunday afternoon at St Andrew’s United Church, 3555 5th Avenue.
