Prince George Toy Run on Today
Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Toy Run goes today, with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army.
Organizer Jenni Parent says those taking part will meet up at the CN Centre parking lot at noon, with the ride heading out at 1pm. The Salvation Army will have a booth set up at the site and there will also be sales of the Toy Run T-shirt with proceeds going to the Salvation Army.
Parent says the organizers have asked that participants “bring gift ideas for all different ages”, not solely stuffed animals and other toys for younger children. She adds the Toy Run is open to riders of all makes of motorcycles “and even if you don’t ride, you can still come down and donate toys and take part in it.” It will taking place today, rain or shine.
