Williams Lake, B.C. – Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Williams Lake man.

North District Corporal Dave Tyreman says 49 year old Lonnie Widdoes was reported missing at approximately 3pm yesterday.

He says Widdoes was last seen at 8 that morning and “was expected back within a reasonable time but did not return.”

Tyreman says Widdoes truck was located in the Sheep Creek Bridge area late yesterday but is still unaccounted for.

He says Search and Rescue has been engaged and a full search was initiated at first light this morning adding “Widdoes family is very concerned for Lonnie’s well-being.”
