Terrace, B.C. – One person is dead and four more are injured following a single vehicle rollover near Terrace.

North District Corporal Dave Tyreman says it happened last night at around 5:20 near the 1700 block of Kalum Lake Road.

“Officers attended the scene and learned that a single vehicle with six occupants left the road, entered the ditch and rolled,” he says.

“Four of the passengers were transported to hospital suffering from various injuries, none of which were believed to be life threatening. Unfortunately one passenger, a 16 year old girl, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.”

Tyreman says Western Pacific Region Traffic Services, a collision analyst and reconstructionist, are investigating.
