Nice Haul for 34th Annual Toy Run
Prince George, B.C. – Threatening skies didn’t dampen the giving spirit in Prince George on Sunday.
Organized by the Prince George Harley Owners Group, over 300 bikes participated in the 34th annual Motorcycle Toy Run which made it’s way up Foothills to the Hart, did a loop through South Kelly back to Foothills before returning to the CN Centre parking lot.
Over $2,000 in cash and gift cards was raised along with six boxes of toys and stuffed animals for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program.
“The Salvation Army cannot forget to thank The Harley Davidson Group for starting this event 34 years ago and continued support making it a success each and every year,” said Captain Neil Wilkinson.
“It is events such as this that make serving this community an honour.”
The Christmas Hamper program helps close to 400 families experience the joy of Christmas each year.
