Prince George, B.C. – The BC Coroners Service has identified the two people killed in a single vehicle crash on Highway 16 near McBride Monday afternoon.

They were Ann Margaret Kiyooka, aged 78, and Gloria Rose Fortowsky, aged 76, both of Valemount.

Both Kiyooka and Fortwosky were rear-seat passengers in a car that left the roadway and went down an embankment.

Both were deceased at the scene. Two men managed to survive the crash with non-life threatening injuries.
