WorkSafeBC Public Hearing Coming to P.G.

Prince George, B.C. – WorkSafeBC will be holding a public hearing in Prince George next week.

The hearing will give the public a chance to discuss the proposed new Lower Maximum Administrative Penalty Regulation (OHS Citations) and changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation relating to Employer Incident Investigations.

WorkSafeBC says all feedback received will be presented to their Board of Directors for consideration.

It will be held October 13 at the Coast Inn of the North from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00m.

Those wanting to speak must register at the hearing.

WorkSafeBC is also accepting written submissions online or by email, fax, mail or by delivery to a public hearing.

The deadline for feedback is October 15, 2015.
