Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Cougars defenceman Max Martin has been named to Team Canada’s roster for the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge which begins November 1^st in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.

The Winnipeg-born 6’0”, 185 pound defenceman tallied six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 28 games last season with the Winnipeg Wild of the Manitoba Midget AAA League.  Martin also captained Team Manitoba during the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George and registered four assists in six games.

Martin was one of two 1999-born players to crack the Prince George Cougars opening night roster in 2015-16.
