Prince George, B.C. – A date has now been set for the community to share their memories of a well-respected member, John Kazakoff.

“Kaz” passed away at Prince George Rotary Hospice House on October 3^rd.  The affable founder, former manager and mentor of the Prince George Grays baseball club was widely-known within the provincial and national baseball communities  as a knowledgeable man well-versed in the intricacies of the game.  His great passion was teaching young guys how to play the game properly and how to carry themselves with character and dignity.

Kaz made a lot of friends along his way, and they are invited to join his family at the Hart Community Centre from noon to 3pm on Saturday, October 17^th for an informal open house.
