Vehicle in Collision with Moose

Prince George, B.C. – Another reminder that seasons have changed and with that comes an emphasis on the need for motorists to adjust their driving habits.
Emergency services were called to an accident on Highway 97 south near Holmes Road around 7:30 Friday night after a vehicle was in collision with a moose. Information regarding the type and size of vehicle involved, number of occupants and possible injuries has not been released.
A note of caution that, on top of wet or icy road surfaces and low-lying fog, this is also a time of year when wild animals are on the move and can unexpectedly walk out onto a road.
