Prince George, B.C. – The Inside Ride National Tour pedals into Prince George on Tuesday.

The fundraiser, which aims to raise money to help send kids with cancer to Camp Goodtimes, will take place at the Northern Sport Centre starting at 5:30pm.

Sandra Blackwell, coordinator for annual giving at the Canadian Cancer Society, says attendees can expect the following:

“This event involves stationary bikes, teams of six members, each member rides a bike for five minutes. You can make it as competitive as you want or as a relaxed easy ride.”

She says last year’s event raised approximately $18,000.

“18 Northern families actually attended Camp Goodtimes and when they do attend the camp 100% of their cost is covered including travelling,” says Blackwell. “This camp is a wonderful place for kids with cancer to just be kids and have full care at the camp.”

She says they hope to raise $30,000 this year and notes registration is open until 6pm tomorrow.
