Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Crime Stoppers is holding a document shredding event today in the Walmart parking lot.

Members of the public are invited to shred personal or important documents to avoid becoming the victim of identity theft.

The service will be provided for the cost of a donation and is not meant for business owners.

It will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm with all proceeds supporting the Prince George Crime Stopper Society.
