Prince George, B.C. – The Cariboo Cougars hockey club is inviting everyone out to its “Paint the Rink Pink” event at tonight’s game against the South Island Royals.

It’s a fundraiser in conjunction with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

Admission to the game at Kin 1 is by donation and that money, along with money raised in the chuck-a-puck event, will all go toward the fight against breast cancer.  CIBC Run for the Cure will have representatives at the game.

The Cariboo Cougars will wear pink jerseys which fans on hand will have a chance to win.  There’s also going to be a special jersey presentation, fans prizes and a couple of surprises from the Prince George Cougars.

Game time is 7:15 tonight.
