Police Suspect Alcohol a Factor in Fatal Williams Lake Crash

Williams Lake, B.C. – Mounties suspect alcohol may have been a contributing factor in a fatal two vehicle crash in Williams Lake.
It happened the evening of October 30, when the driver of a Ford Explorer tried to pass a tractor trailer unit travelling south on Mackenzie Avenue near 168 Mile Road.
As the driver of the Explorer attempted to pass the tractor trailer, police say it clipped the unit’s front end, causing the Explorer to lose control and roll several times.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was pronounced dead at hospital. The name of the deceased has not been released.
