What a nice breath of fresh air! PG really needs to clean its air shed before its to late.

Ah sunny ways . What a relief . It’ll take a few years to get the stink out of 24 Sussex . Trudeau’s first mission to clean up the mess left by Stevie starts at home . You got to like that . He’s not going to let his kids breath asbestos for even a minute , not like the ten years Stevie’s kids did . Like Mike Holms said asbestos is Stevie’s asbestos friend .

Well at least Hedy “crosses are burning in Prince George” Fry didn’t get a post. You Liberals all remember her don’t you. Really you don’t remember.

Steven Harper and Sheri Green had one thing in common – Good to activate more voters. I look forward to see what kind of Canada we become under Justin Trudeau leadership.

Hedy Fry – what she said “Mr. Speaker, we can just go to British Columbia, in Prince George, where crosses are being burned on lawns as we speak.”

Her attempt to avoid responsibility :Fry originally stuck to her guns. She returned to the House later Wednesday afternoon to amend her comments to say “recently” rather than “as we speak.”

Then she says: “”You cannot say racism is not prevalent in this community, but to the extent that there are crosses burning here, I haven’t been aware of that and it’s never come to my attention,” she told CBC News.

Finally, after being ordered by the PM “Ms. Fry offered a further clarification yesterday afternoon. “Yesterday, I linked the City of Prince George with a specific hate activity. I regret that, and I apologize to the people of Prince George,” she said in the House.

So PM Trudeau, if keeping her out of cabinet was a nod to PG, thanks. Much appreciated.

Harjit Sajjan (Vancouver South) has been named Defence Minister. Just read this guys bio. Former Lt Colonel, combat veteran, former VPD detective. Finally a guy who knows what it’s about.

It’s a bright shiney day for Canada and for everyone who thought they had been forgotten. Things are going to change and change for the better… Wait and see, this is going to be fun. Go Justin!

so weird to see medical professional as health minister, military veteran as defence minister, instead of BS patronage appointments as under the previous government. thanks Justin for at least providing some face validity to the cabinet. now let’s get rid of FPTP so we can ensure that we never see another conservative majority again.

Justin was quoted as saying …. “Christians are the worst part of Canadian society.”

And yet today, it appears that he took the oath of allegiance to Canada on a bible?

Oops!

I’m waiting for liberals to start acting with some maturity instead of like a kid that just won a game of tag at lunch.

Hart Guy, so you believe Charles H. McVety , (evangelical Christian leader and conservative political activist)? You don’t think he has his own agenda? He is the only one who quotes Justin as saying that, but it doesn’t make it true.

anniemartin, from what I understand, Steve Long, a Pastor in Oakville Ontario stated the following:

“I have met Justin Trudeau three times. I prophesied to him about 8 years ago that God wanted him as the leader of the Liberal party of Canada. Sadly my last meeting with him in his office was very disappointing. He told John & Carol Arnott and me that evangelical Christians were the worst part of Canadian society. Not good.”

I don’t know Charles H. McVety. I don’t know Steve Long and I don’t know John and Carol Arnott.

I also don’t know why a Canadian Pastor from Oakville, Ontario would publicly make this statement, publically for all to see and hear.

anniemartin, long distance rates are really inexpensive and I’m sure that with very little effort, you should be able to contact Steve Long to ask him about the validity of his statement and to question him on his agenda.

Get back to us on this, ok??

Charles H. McVety’s youtube is where I found the post, sorry I misquoted him as saying it and not Pastor Long. But I did see Steve Long’s post on Political forum dot com.

You don’t know him as being truthful, but you quote him, from an anonymous internet site.

I was curious and asked if you didn’t think that someone may have an agenda for saying something like this which is not like Mr. Trudeau at all, but you decide to be sarcastic to me.

Most adults, with very little effort can answer questions politely, if they choose to.

“….Steve Long, a Pastor in Oakville Ontario stated the following:…”

Anybody can make up a story and just because he/she is a pastor or minister doesn’t mean that it cannot be biased or a complete fabrication. A couple of decades ago the TV was awash with bible evangelists who publicly disgraced themselves and even ended up serving time.

anniemartin, I stated that I don’t know Pastor Long, but I also questioned why a Pastor would publically state what he did!

I google him and found that he is a fairly public person. I also found that the quote that has been attributed to him is also posted on his own Facebook page, on October 18th.

Again, I question why a Pastor, a very public Pastor at that, would publicly state what he stated about Justin? I don’t really see anything for him in doing so, other than condemnation from Justin’s supporters!

So, in light of this, I tend to believe what he has publicly stated.

But, as I stated earlier, if you doubt what he has said, you still have the opportunity to contact him yourself, either by phone or perhaps on his Facebook page!

And, as I earlier stated, if and when you do contact Pastor Long, get back to us with the outcome of your conversation!

No sarcasm intended, none at all!

Unless the good pastor has video or audio evidence of that meeting (in the privacy of an office) he can make up any story he wants to make up! I suspect that his religious fervour has gotten the worst of him, even though one of the ten commandments says Do not bear false witness!

BTW, the Christian blessing of war machinery (on both sides of a conflict!) should be a mortal sin too and does nothing for credibility of any religion.

What are you talking about? Stay on point. The article is about the Federal Cabinet being sworn in today. Why does this website spend such little effort on the Cabinet? Terrible journalism.

There is a picture of him circulating on the net of him sitting on the floor in a mosque, front and center with a few dozen other praying Muslims.
Maybe that’s his preference?
Or does he even have a religion?
Anybody ever hear someone ask him, or is that question off limits now too?

Watch the new Minister of Finance. He’s an ex-pension fund guy. An ally of the big banks that provided the dough and media co-operation to put junior into office. They have a goal, and that’s to make the purchasing power of your dollars scarce. That way you have to borrow more of them. To live. While inflation eats away at your savings, and all that pension dough you’re counting on to keep you in your golden years. But don’t let me rain on junior’s big day. You’ll find out what he’s all about soon enough. The hard way.

palomino, I’m waiting for a video to surface of Justin and his cabinet, in a meeting, all stoned and rolling around on the floor, laughing their heads off, with Justin saying “I can’t believe those idiots voted for us, now who wants another joint, hahahaha? Somebody hurry up and open another bag of Cheetos!”

Sorry Lefties, but you got to poke fun at Stephen Harper for a decade. It’s our turn now! We will need to keep our sense of humour while Justin screws things up royally!

Saw a meme today that made me laugh, Justin asking “What’s all this talk about Economic Policy? Isn’t it just like my Trust Fund? It takes care of itself!

Haha! Cheers! ;-)

See the good people of Ohio turned down the legalisation of pot in a State wide referendum. And that after the pot purveyors spent over 12 million bucks to try to sway public opinion their way. Maybe seeing what goes on in Washington State and Colorado now that pot has been legalised there, and all the problems that are just starting to surface, soured the message that weed is such a harmless substance.

Once all the potheads are sleeping it off and the celebrations of Justin’s victory and takeover of Canada begin to die down, the reality of what we’ve just done will start to quickly sink in, — even for them.

Just google “Trudeau praying in a mosque” or “the truth about Justin Trudeau” and make up your own mind.

You, and I will be “walking the walk” with this man for quite some time starting Nov, 4th.

Pope Francis prayed in the Blue Mosque when he visited Turkey last year, but I think that Catholics can feel safe that the Pope is spreading Islam. Justin Trudeau visiting a mosque doesn’t imply that he will either. I’m more concerned about Trudeau’s support for the awful TPP treaty than I am about his religion.

Above that should be “that the Pope is NOT spreading Islam”.

I think we all can be pretty sure where the Pope’s loyalties lie in regard to religion.

Justin Trudeau is a whole different story.
