Prince George, B.C. – The second annual East Line Market Christmas Bazaar goes this weekend.

Event organizer Candice Pepin says it runs today and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Ferndale Hall on Upper Fraser Road.

“We have 26 different vendors coming, everything from meat to preserves, soaps, crafts, baskets, wood working, chocolates, and photography.”

She says the event is a good way to be able to shop local and support your neighbours.

“It’s just so much better when you might be helping some kid with dance lessons or soccer,” says Pepin. “Rather than going to Walmart and buying everything there. It just gives the people out here an outlet without actually having to go to town.”

She says the two day event will be capped with a draw for a basket filled with items donated by the vendors on Sunday.
