Wind Warning in Effect

Prince George, B.C. – Environment Canada  has issued a wind warning for Prince George and areas east to the Alberta Border.Environment Canada’s  warning says south winds of 70 km/h with gusts to 90 will occur this evening as a deep low pressure system moves across northern British Columbia. The winds will ease after midnight as the low moves out of the area.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
